We provide outdoor recreational activities for disabled veterans of the United States Armed Forces, these activities and related expenses are provided at no cost.
You must be an approved member of the Wounded Warriors Guide Service in order to apply for events. Once your membership is approved, you will have access to apply for all events.

The annual Wounded Warriors Guide Service Crosslake camping weekend is set for August 26th through 28th near Crosslake, Minnesota. Fifteen campsites (camper or tent) have been offered and fifteen Veterans will be selected to attend this event. This is a family-oriented event so Veterans with families and/or guests (up to five guests) are encouraged to apply. Check-in is Friday afternoon and there will be a meal that evening. Saturday starts with breakfast followed by activities such as fishing, kayaking, hiking, and other kids/family events throughout the day and will include a bag lunch. The evening will have a great meal for dinner followed by a movie and kettle corn. Sunday is a continental breakfast and departure day. Please ensure that you can attend this event, i.e., clear it with work, school, etc. before applying. Our annual Minnesota Purple Heart recipient bear hunting event is scheduled for September 1-5, 2022, near Remer/Longville, Minnesota. Three Minnesota resident Veterans will be selected and notified shortly after the closing of applications. Upon selection and notification, the selected Veterans must apply for a Minnesota bear hunting tag from the Minnesota DNR NLT May 6. After applying, fill out and mail/fax the DNR Military Preference Application, along with proof of Purple Heart, to the address on the application. This trip includes hunting over bait with a licensed guide, lodging, and meals. Licensing, gun, ammo, and transportation to the hunt site are the responsibility of the selected Veterans. Selected Veterans are asked to bring appropriate camouflage clothing for a variety of early fall Minnesota weather. Our annual Texas hog and dove hunt is scheduled for 14 through 20 September with Red Dirt Outfitters out of Wichita Falls. We will leave early on Wednesday, 14 September and return the evening of Tuesday, 20 September. Eight selected Veterans will be transported to, or meeting us in, Wichita Falls to pursue hogs and doves. Meals, lodging, licenses, and transportation from a TBD location will be provided. Selected Veterans are asked to bring an appropriate rifle (hog) and shotgun (dove), ammo, as well as clothing for hot, and potentially wet, Texas fall weather (camo is helpful for dove hunting).
