This year's annual Take a Vet Fishing event will occur on June 14th at Trappers Landing Lodge on Leech Lake near Walker, Minnesota. Wounded Warriors Guide Service, Reed's Family Outdoor Outfitters, Trappers Landing Lodge, along with local guides and boat captains, will provide a day on the lake for one hundred Veterans. A fish dinner and raffle will follow the day of fishing. To register contact Jackie Nieland by sending an email to LeechLakeVetFishing@gmail.com. For additional information call Jackie at (612)247-4533. This event is limited to 100 Veterans. All travel, lodging, licenses, etc. are your responsibility. Please don't register if you aren't dedicated to attending since you will, potentially, be taking a spot from another deserving Veteran. Entry deadline is June 7th.
