Wounded Warriors Guide Service is excited to announce our second annual Gulf Coast Offshore Charter Fishing Event. This event will occur on September 4th thru 7th in Surfside, Texas and will include both Offshore Charter boat and beach fishing. This can be a very physically demanding fishing event as the boat will run, rain or shine with up to five-foot waves. Do not apply if you are prone to motion or sea sickness or require Dramamine, have vertigo, are not able to stand and fish for extended periods of time in all kinds of weather (temperatures can be in excess of 100*), or are unable to lift at least 50 pounds. Six Veterans will be selected for this event and notified shortly after the closing of applications. If you do not get notified via phone, text, or email within a few days of the application closing date then you were not selected to attend. Meals, lodging, and all necessary fishing equipment will be provided. Selected Veterans are responsible for transportation to Surfside, Texas and appropriate clothes for a variety of weather conditions. Please ensure that you can attend this event, i.e., clear it with work, school, and spouse, before applying. By submitting this application, you hereby agree/allow for voice, video, and photo release to promote the event.
